At MMF, we are committed to supporting music education in our schools and music learning for everyone. We believe that music makes an important difference – it improves SAT scores, reading and math skills, social skills and self-discipline. Music enhances higher brain function, develops quick and decisive thinking and builds teamwork. These valuable skills stay with us throughout life.

As government funding for arts and music education programs through public schools in the country continues to diminish, there is a greater need for creative fundraising to keep these programs alive. Merritt Music Foundation believes it has realized a comprehensive solution by using charity concerts with renowned musicians to serve as a fundraising mechanism for music education programs across the country.
